Amanda Nelson, LMT
Amanda was raised in Hood River, Oregon. She attended Ashmead School of Massage in Tigard, Oregon graduating in December 2007. She has worked at Woodburn Health Center before coming to work at our clinic in April 2007.
She now lives in Sandy, Oregon with her 3 children while attending Mt Hood Community College where she is working on her Nursing degree. She plans on finishing schooling from OHSU with a RN degree.
Sylvia Allred, LMT
Sylvia began her study of healing massage and bodywork while living in New Mexico in January of 2000. She graduated from Myotherapy College of Utah and got licensed in the spring of 2001. She enjoyed a successful practice there for 5 years, until she moved to the Portland/Vancouver area and got her Washington state license in late 2006. She opened her practice in Vancouver in 2007, and still enjoys working there. In the spring of 2009 she became licensed in Oregon and came to work at our clinic in May 2010.
Sylvia is an avid student of all things relating to health and bodywork. Since completing her basic schooling for massage in 2001, she has logged in over 1000 hours of continuing education, in such therapies as: Aromotherapy, Auriculotherapy, Chinese Cupping, Thai Yoga Massage, Reflexology, Tuina, Shiatsu, Acutherapy, and Reiki.
Gail Veloni, LMT
Gail graduated from the Oregon School of Massage in 2001. She has worked at Multnomah Chiropractic, Optimal Chiropractic, and in 2005 moved with our clinic to our present location.
Gail uses massage techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Chineese Cupping, and Rekie. She was born in Aberdeen, Washington then moved to Portland where she still lives.
Jessica Southavilay, LMT
Jessica was raised in Portland, Oregon then moved to Seattle where she attended Seattle Pacific for Massage Therapy, graduating in 2005. She worked for Wellness one Elite Chiropractic and Diabetes & Heart Wellness in Seattle before moving back to Portland.
She started here at our clinic in the summer of 2006 while attending Portland State University for her Bachelors in International Affairs.
She now lives in Vancouver, Washington with her 2 daughters while attending University of Western States where she is studying for her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Upon graduation she plans on specializing in sports medicine and working with athletes.
